On July 4th, walking into the production workshop of Pan Zhou Sino-Vietnam, the flames danced in the furnace, the cast pipes stood tall, and the new alloy materials were sold all over the world after smelting and casting, extrusion, flaw detection, cold deformation, machining and other processes.
Seeing this scene, Bo Xin, chairman of Pan Continent Sino-Vietnam, was very emotional. He recalled that 10 years ago, the company's main revenue came from automotive synchronizer gear ring material products, with an annual profit of tens of millions of yuan. In order to get out of the comfort zone, Pan Zhou Zhongyue aims at the subdivision of copper alloy materials, and marches into the "new blue ocean" of automobile engines, automobile transmissions, construction machinery, hydraulics, valves, and wind power generation.
In the face of doubts from the outside world, Bo Xin believes that when the company has abundant capital and time, the team should boldly try and make mistakes, forge core competitiveness, and seize market opportunities.
If you have no experience, you will work hard with a team of German experts; Without a R&D platform, it invested tens of millions of yuan to set up a materials central laboratory, and was awarded the CNAS certification of the national laboratory; There is no production foundation, so we purchased international advanced equipment and built a 5-ton vertical semi-continuous casting production line and an ultrasonic flaw detection line for pipes......
"Before a new material product enters the market, it has to be 'tempered', and the types of tests alone are complex, and the number of tests exceeds 10,000 times." As a member of the R&D staff, Yu Qiang, the head of the Sino-Vietnamese Technical Section of Panzhou, often goes into the laboratory all day. He introduced that alloy products play a role in reducing the wear between steel parts in automobile gearboxes, engines, and hydraulic pumps of construction machinery, requiring high strength and friction resistance.
Sitting firmly on the "cold bench", Pan Zhou Zhongyue jumped out of a U-shaped road of sliding, bottoming out and rebounding. Since 2020, the company's annual sales have been "singing all the way", and 80% of the sales revenue has come from new markets and new tracks opened up in recent years. Bosch, Mahle, Eaton, Federal-Mogul and other world-renowned auto parts companies, Great Wall Motor, Geely Automobile, BYD, Sany Heavy Industry, Zoomlion and other domestic enterprises have become its customers, and the cooperation group has expanded from more than 10 to more than 30, covering France, Italy, Germany, the United States and other countries around the world.
It has been rated as a national specialized and special new "little giant" enterprise, a national green factory, a provincial manufacturing individual champion, a provincial intelligent manufacturing demonstration enterprise, and a listed reserve "silver seed" enterprise in Wuhan...... For more than 20 years, Panzhou Zhongyue has realized the domestic substitution of high-strength wear-resistant copper alloy materials and products, breaking the monopoly of foreign material giants in this field for decades, and its leading products high-strength wear-resistant copper alloy materials and their products have a leading share in the domestic market, realizing the transformation from a pure material supplier to an enterprise integrating R&D and manufacturing of copper alloy products.
Having tasted the "sweetness" of improving scientific and technological innovation capabilities, Panzhou Sino-Vietnamese benchmarked international advanced technology and continued to explore the "new blue ocean" of the market. "We are now developing an average of one new material a year, and are currently developing new copper alloy materials for the field of wind power, and the next step will be to seize new opportunities for copper alloy materials such as ship parts and semiconductors."
